ARCHITECTURE
Synthesis Good architecture synthesizes the work of many teams and multiple building systems. Understanding that a single line on a page or an abstract painting can be the inspiration for an organizing principal is key to being a successful architect. Organization Architecture begins when the manifold systems of which it is comprised are organized to work in harmony with each other, according to one cohesive vision. Buildings are systems of structure and cladding as well as systems of spaces and openings. The tectonic systems that make up the fabric of the building can work to enhance the spatial systems. Thinking The complexity of buildings requires the need to organize all of the constituent elements clearly and rationally. An architect can leverage this way of thinking and apply it to other disciplines. |
